In celebration of February’s holiday of adoration, we want to know why you love Bakugan. During the whole month, submit a short essay (approximately 250 words) describing why you are passionate about brawling, the battlefield, and the universe of Bakugan. Hey all, we just got this message from Spin Masters, and we had to share it with you. Sorry for not sending you our regular updates, we've been on vacation the past few weeks. But now we are back and ready for action! Watch out Bakugan Brawlers! There's some exciting things in store for the Bakugan Dojo!

Here's the letter:

Attention Bakugan Battle Brawlers!

With the start of the first ever, nationwide, official Bakugan tournament several issues have been addressed concerning specific gameplay rules, game practices, and legitimate product.

Recently, the BakuCon Tournament Rules has received an update addressing the use of season 1 Bakugan, Trap, Launchers and Ramps, and correct Bonus procedures during matches. The latest version can be downloaded here: BakuCon Tournament Rules.

More importantly, the concern of purchasing and using fake/illegal/imported Bakugan arose through the observation of the official BakuCon judges, BakuCon participants, and several integral community members.

A simple question has fueled a much heated debate which has been escalated in priority and has officially been addressed:

What is the highest printed G-Power on official Spin Master Bakugan?

Currently, the highest Season 2 G-Power printed on a Bakugan is 780G. The only exception to that G-Power cap is Mystic Elico which has a printed G-Power of 820G on its projecting dice.

This information is extremely critical in determining which Bakugan are genuine from the mass amounts of knockoffs, fakes, and imports found on online auctions, small boutiques, etc. Please avoid from purchasing such product as they are not allowed in any official tournament play and are not considered legitimate, genuine Spin Master product.

Additionally, this information will be shared with the BakuCon officials and will be thoroughly shared with all partners to ensure that tournament participants are playing with genuine Bakugan. Fortunately, the Regional Champions from Chicago and Los Angeles were using Bakugan within the genuine printed G-Power ranges.

Lastly, we would like to give a personal thank you and apologies to the following members who voiced their opinions and helped raise the much needed red flag to resolve this issue:

Be very careful of fakes when you buy online. Be sure you check that the seller is a reputable seller and doesn't print his own fakes. Oh, and if you buy a doom card on eBay... odds are it's a fake! Fake Bakugan with fake bakugan g powers are a big problem, and you don't want to be caught using a fake in a tournament since that could just ruin your day!

Well, Season 2 of the Bakugan cartoon is over, but never fear Bakugan Fans! Spin Masters has confirmed that there will be a new 3rd season of Bakugan just around the corner! Very little word has been released about season 3 of Bakugan. We have heard rumors that Dan and Runo are going to be an official couple... finally! Also, the new season is going to be called:

Bakugan Gundalian Invaders.

Very little is known about the new season so far, no plot synopsis is released. What news have you heard about the new Bakugan season 3? Share all you know about the new Gundalian Inaders story and let's get some spoilers going!

However, we do have some other rumors and news for what the future holds for Bakugan Battle Brawlers the world over: A Bakugan Massive Multiplayer video game! Yes you heard us right, Bakugan is going online with an MMO game that will no doubt ROCK! Announced almost a month ago, plans are underway to make a massive mutliplayer game Bakugan Battle Brawlers game that will tie in with the third season of Bakugan, and likely work along with the new Bakugan Video Game that was just released.

Our friends over at PurplePawn recently got the opportunity to attend one of the Bakugan Ultimate Battle Tours that hit their home town. They also got the opportunity to get an exclusive one on one interview with the Bakugan game designer Luke Peterschmidt. A pretty cool dude who has worked on a number of amazing projects. He founded one of our favorite stores: Game Workshop. And he's one of those lucky people who gets paid to invent games and play with toys all day! How cool is that!
